Stouts: Take a Ride on the Dark Side
Sometimes a lager just won’t do the trick. It’s okay to go for something darker, packed with hints of sweet flavors like chocolate, caramel, and even coffee. Stouts are a great way to end a meal and go with just about everything, ESPECIALLY spicy foods. At Bier Haus, we offer five stouts that would pair perfectly with some of our hot fried chicken and those late-night Lubbock vibes.
The Darth Vader of Stout beers. Guinness Irish Stout is a true classic and possibly one of the most popular beers in the world. This rich and creamy beer would make for a great night kicking back on the BH patio.
Black Butte Porter –
Brought to you all the way from Deschutes Brewery in Oregon, this beer prides itself on being “easy to drink.” It’s a creamy beer with notes of rich chocolate and caramel.
Local Legend Sweet Stout –
The name definitely fits. Local Legend is mixed with milk sugar for a beer that’s more on the subtle side.
Founders Porter –
A sweet, “velvety” stout with hints of caramel and chocolate. Basically, its dessert in a glass, and who says no to dessert?
Milk Stout –
Who would’ve thought milk and beer would end up being the perfect combination? The Left Hand Milk Stout is a rich and creamy beer with notes of coffee, fit for a king.
